In the city of Calgary, the Calgary Combative Sport Commission (CCSC) is the body responsible for regulating combative sports events. Promoters, officials and contestants who participate in combative sporting events are required to have the appropriate licences and to meet the necessary requirements as set out in the Combative Sports Commission Bylaw and the CCSC’s policies and procedures.
